01 · Basic info
Light business jet developed by Beechcraft from the Mitsubishi MU-300 Diamond II, introduced as an improved Beechjet 400 with a Collins Pro Line 4 EFIS flight deck, a higher maximum takeoff weight and a greater operating ceiling. Deliveries began in November 1990, and the type was later marketed as the Hawker 400XP. It also formed the basis of the US Air Force T-1A Jayhawk trainer.
