Mitsubishi MU-300 Diamond I

Light business jet designed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and assembled in San Angelo, Texas, powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D-4 turbofans. The prototype first flew on 29 August 1978, US certification was granted in November 1981 and customer deliveries began in July 1982. The improved Diamond IA followed in 1984, and the design rights were sold to Beechcraft in 1985, leading to the Beechjet 400.
