Lockheed JetStar II

Turbofan-powered production version of the JetStar with four Garrett TFE731-3 engines, offering lower fuel consumption, longer range, less noise and a higher maximum takeoff weight than the turbojet model. It first flew on 18 August 1976 and was certified in December 1976. Lockheed built 40 new JetStar IIs until production ended in 1979.
